In the heart of Ardèche, 2 hours from the Mediterranean Sea and the city of Montpellier, Faugères is a great wine tourism region, located in the south-west of the department of Ardèche, between the villages of Les Vans and Aubenas.
Languedoc-South of France AOC wines are famous around the world. With its schist soils, the wine is very typical, fruity and full-bodied. Appellation d'origine contrôlée for red and rosé wines since 1982, and for white wines since 2005, the vineyards rise up to an altitude of 250 metres above sea level.
Whether you are a wine lover or a holidaymaker, you will enjoy exploring the unspoilt countryside and the seven villages that make up this heritage, namely: Autignac, Cabrerolles, Caussiniojouls, Faugères, Fos, Laurens and Roquessels.
