A vineyard of protected designation of origin
At the heart of Ardèche, in only 40 minutes of the Mediterranean Sea and the city of Montpellier, Faugères constitutes a real oenotouristique region in the Southwest of the department of Ardèche, between the village Vans and Aubenas. AOC (PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN) of Languedoc-South of France, vineyards are considered at the world level. With a ground constituted by schists, the wine is very typical, fruity and greedy. Protected designation of origin for red and dews since 1982, but also for the whites since 2005, the vineyard extends up to 250 meters in height. Amateurs of wines or vacationers, you will take pleasure to discover the protected landscapes and seven villages which constitute these heritage, worth namely : Autignac, Cabrerolles, Caussiniojouls, Faugères, Fos, Laurens and Roquessels. In family or between friends, you will take pleasure to trail round you in the middle of the vineyard, on foot, in MOUNTAIN BIKE or even on by horse.
